Ashridge Karate Academy
Ashridge Karate Academy (AKA) is a Goju Ryu Karate club based at Ashlyns School Dojo, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, with classes for juniors and adults.
The club is run by Sensei John Foster, who is a 4th Dan black belt, and is affiliated with Goju-Ryu Karate-Do International (GKI) association.
There are classes each Thursday evening - Juniors (all levels) and Seniors (teenagers and adults). and Advanced (Blue belt and above)
The club is open to anyone aged 7 years and above. Come and join us !
New classes running on Mondays from Dec 2024
Training at AKA karate club is based on traditional Okinawan training techniques - including kata, kumite and bag work as well as incorporating take downs and locks.
