About Us

Hi, I'm Andrew. I've been teaching Tai Chi here since 1992. I represented GB all over the world for almost 10 years, and now focus solely on teaching and spreading this fascinating art.

The class starts with gentle loosening exercises followed by controlled breathing methods called qigong. The bulk of the class is spent learning practicing and refining a 'form' of movements. The routines are gentle and slow, but effective in opening the body and releasing deep tensions. The health and wellbeing benefits are well documented.

Tai Chi requires patience time, and a willingness to simply let go and change. It's oddly challenging, but fun and rewarding too.

Classes are friendly and welcoming, and particularly suitable for complete beginners.
