Samurai Ju-Jitsu Academy

Samurai Ju-Jitsu teaches traditional Japanese martial arts, with a modern twist.
A form of self-defence that was officially established in the 1530's by Hisamori Tenenouchi in Japan.
We teach Ju-Jitsu/self-defence to children from 4 years upto 16 years.
From 16 the students graduate into the senior class, which has no age limit.
Although an independent club, Samurai is affiliated to World JU-Jitsu Federation (WJJF). The WJJF take care of all the legal aspects associated with running a club.
Our instructors have to complete a day's written training, then conduct 10 supervised and logged training sessions.
Our dojo (training area) creates a friendly environment, with a large tatami (mat) and a seating area for spectators (parents)
