"Shinken Dojo Karate Academy is a karate club that has been teaching in East Hull for over 30 years and in early 2022 opened up a second club in Welton followed with a third club opening in Willerby early 2023. Karate is a popular Japanese martial art that was originally developed on the islands of Okinawa. Karate can be practiced as an art, self-defence or as a combat sport all of which is taught at our clubs. The club has produced multiple English and British medallists and have had a multitude of athletes compete for the England National Karate Team at European and World Championships.
