JKS Karate Chester is a Karate Club based in Chester, operating from a dojo in the suburb of Hoole. We practice Shotokan karate, known for its powerful yet fast style. Our mission is to provide high-quality, accessible, and affordable martial arts to the community. We focus on developing physical aptitudes such as flexibility, strength, mobility, and balance, while teaching traditional Shotokan Karate skills and values. Our club is affiliated with the Japan Karate Shotorenmei (JKS) Federation, ensuring that students learn Shotokan Karate as it is meant to be.
