About Us
At our dojo, we practice the Aikido style established by Tomiki Kenji Shihan, often referred to as Shodokan Aikido or Sport Aikido. Since our inception in 1998, we have been guided by one of our founding instructors, Paul Bonett, who continues to share his expertise with our students.
Our community is warm and inclusive, welcoming individuals of all backgrounds, and we offer training sessions for both juniors and adults. Newcomers are invited to join us for a complimentary introductory class.
We embrace a competitive aspect of Aikido for those interested, and our members have proudly represented the British squad and team. Additionally, we organize seminars in Brighton featuring esteemed visiting instructors and encourage our students to train at various aikido dojos to enhance their skills.
We are affiliated with the British Aikido Association and the Shodokan Aikido Federation, ensuring that our members have access to a rich network of resources and support.
