Pitea Aikidoklubb

Piteå Aikidoklubb, founded in 1997 by Ingemar Berglund, is a dojo that practices a peaceful martial art called Aikido. The dojo is led by Ingemar Berglund, who started his Aikido journey in the USA, Chicago, training under the late Akira Tohei. They have a sister club in Stockholm called Iyasaka, led by Shihan Urban Aldenklint, who visits Luleå annually. The dojo's training is also inspired by Igarashi Sensei and Tissier Sensei, in addition to the mentioned trainers. The founder of Aikido is O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba.
