Aikido Mataro

Aikido Mataró is an entity dedicated to promoting the practice of Aikido, established in 1986. They are affiliated with the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan, and follow the training line of the Aikikai Hombu Dojo. The club has a section for young people, where children between 10 and 16 years old can practice and learn Aikido. They also organize courses and exhibitions to share and promote Aikido. The entity is led by Jaume Gelabert 7 Dan Aikikai, President and Aikido Master, who started practicing Aikido in 1972. Other masters include Manel Fernandez 6 Dan Aikikai and Samuel Ordóñez 5 Dan.
