The dojo has a rich history, with its main instructor, Steve Campbell, having trained for 8 years in the prestigious Gracie Barra facilities in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he obtained his black belt under the guidance of Carlos Gracie Jr, the son of the founder of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The dojo teaches various styles, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and derribos (takedowns). They believe it's essential to learn not only how to take down opponents but also how to fall safely. Their classes are adapted for both competitive and non-competitive students, and they offer a supportive environment for those who want to compete or simply learn BJJ and improve their physical fitness.
