Yawara Jutsu

**Yawara‑Jutsu Escuela Tradicional Japonesa** is the official representative in Spain of the ancient martial system founded in Japan during the 12th century by Master Kamakura Ushogui. Known historically as *Ushogui Ryu Yawara Jutsu Dojo*, this art preserves more than a thousand traditional self‑defense techniques, including locks, throws, strikes, and kicks, as well as training with classical weapons such as the katana and yari. Practiced for centuries by the samurai and integrated into their military training, Yawara‑Jutsu is considered a precursor to modern arts like Jujutsu, Aikijujutsu, Judo, and Aikido. Rooted in the philosophy of Bushido, the school emphasizes discipline, self‑control, and personal balance, offering practitioners not only effective martial skills but also a path toward inner strength and a meaningful way of life.
