Club Ryoshinkai Barcelona

Club Ryoshinkai Barcelona is an entity established in 2002 aimed at supporting a new group of veteran and beginner practitioners in Barcelona, under the teachings of master Ryo Hiruma. The goal is to promote and disseminate kendo and iaido throughout Catalonia, while providing members with information and means to participate in various sports and cultural events related to kendo and iaido. Additionally, the club promotes and organizes the Kurasawa Trophy as a flagship activity to enhance the practice of these martial arts. One of the objectives of this trophy is to foster connections between high-level masters and competitors with club members and other practitioners in Catalonia, thereby improving kendo practice. The Ryoshinkai Kendo Club is a non-profit organization registered with the sports entities registry of the Generalitat de Catalunya since July 8, 2002.
