Makati Aikikai

Makati Aikikai is the headquarters of Aikido Philippines, established in 1997. Originally known as the Valenzuela Aikido Dojo, it is often referred to as Baler Dojo due to its street location. The dojo has hosted significant training events, including a six-month Teacher’s Training Program led by a Tokyo Hombu Dojo Instructor. This program attracted Aikido practitioners from across the Philippines, providing them with the opportunity to learn from esteemed teachers in the field. The dojo fosters a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced practitioners, emphasizing the importance of unity with nature through the practice of Aikido.
