About Us
Welcome to Bushin Aikido. Founded nearly 20 years ago by instructor Robert Antes, the name Bushin is derived from two words: 'Bu' meaning warrior, brave, combat, and 'Shin' meaning spirit, mind, or heart. This represents the highest level one can achieve. Bushin Aikido is affiliated with IMAF and AJBA. As of January 1, 2023, it has become an independent foundation with its own board and skilled instructors. The dojo offers a welcoming environment for practitioners of all ages and skill levels.
