About Us

Welcome to my website about Taiji and Qigong and my training and activities. Taiji Qigong (also written as Taichi ChiKung) are Chinese health exercises performed in a relaxed atmosphere. The movements are executed slowly, relaxed, and fluidly with your whole body. The exercises are a combination of relaxation and effort, aimed at positively influencing the life energy, Qi, in various ways to work on your health. My base, my Taiji home, is at Albeweging of Rian Smolders and Wim Weel. I still train there often and regularly. Teachers from Albeweging give lessons in various locations including Tilburg, Waalwijk, Oosterhout, Udenhout, Loon op Zand, Oss, Boxtel, and Dongen. There are various opportunities at Albeweging for introduction and deepening of various exercise forms including Qigong, Taijiquan, Push Hands, Silk Reeling exercises, Sword forms, and meditations.
