Budovereniging On Ko Chi Shin

Budovereniging On Ko Chi Shin is an association for practicing Kendo, Iaido, and Jodo with dojos in Arnhem and Nijmegen. Young in spirit but with decades of experience! Budo is the collective term for Japanese martial arts. Our martial arts stem from the samurai tradition and include: Kendo, a competitive form of Japanese sword fighting; Iaido, the classical Japanese sword art of the samurai using a real Japanese sword (katana); and Jodo, a Japanese form of stick fighting aimed at disarming a swordsman. All disciplines are taught by qualified instructors who keep their knowledge and skills up to date with high-ranking teachers from Europe and Japan. The association promotes equal rights and opportunities for everyone, emphasizing diversity as a contribution to a healthy culture and quality.
