Accademia Hirakudo Eboli is a dojo dedicated to Aikido, a traditional Japanese martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba. Established in 1982 in Eboli, it emphasizes cooperation over competition, allowing practitioners of all ages to train together. Aikido focuses on harmony, self-defense, and the development of internal energy (Ki) through various techniques and forms. Lessons combine breathing techniques, relaxation exercises, and study of both empty-hand movements and weapon techniques. The dojo promotes a respectful atmosphere where practitioners learn not only physical skills but also life philosophy, rooted in the traditions of the samurai culture.
