Sala d’Arme Achille Marozzo is an Italian association dedicated to the study and practice of Historical European Martial Arts, focusing on the medieval and Renaissance fencing traditions preserved in original dueling treatises. Since 1997, the school has grown into a nationwide network with 40 salles across Italy, guided by 60 qualified instructors and affiliated with 16 associations. Training combines theoretical study with practical application of combat techniques using single weapons, dual weapons, or two-handed arms, reflecting the Italian fencing styles of the 15th and 16th centuries. With over 26 years of activity and 18 published works, Sala d’Arme Achille Marozzo is recognized as one of the largest and most authoritative institutions in Italy for historical martial arts, offering students the opportunity to explore authentic techniques, philosophy, and traditions of Italian swordsmanship. Based in Bologna, the association continues to preserve and promote this cultural heritag
