MaTjan Academy

Matjan Academy is an academy that teaches traditional martial arts, with a focus on the Pukulan Pentjak Silat style, which originated in Indonesia. This style combines geometry, physics, and biomechanics to deliver effective and precise blows. The academy's founder, Ottavio, is a personal trainer and a former judo athlete who has also trained in various other martial arts, including Kali Filippino, Kravmaga, and Boxe Thailandese. Ottavio is also one of the technical directors of the Naga Kuning Institute and has a background in nutrition and firearms training. The academy offers various courses, including martial arts, functional training, and shooting, and also hosts an Open Air Tour for outdoor training. The academy's principle is based on tradition, discipline, and dedication, and aims to teach students not only martial arts techniques but also how to cultivate their mind and body in the spirit of the martial arts.
