Το Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) είναι μια πολεμική τέχνη που εξελίχθηκε κυρίως στο έδαφος και βασίζεται σε αρχές όπως η μόχλευση, οι γωνίες, η πίεση και ο σωστός συγχρονισμός, σε συνδυασμό με τη γνώση της ανθρώπινης ανατομίας, με σκοπό την ελεγχόμενη υποταγή του αντιπάλου.
Σε αντίθεση με άλλες πολεμικές τέχνες που δίνουν έμφαση στα χτυπήματα και τις, το BJJ εστιάζει στην επαφή σώμα με σώμα, χρησιμοποιώντας τεχνικές «πάλης» (grappling), πνιγμών και ελέγχου των αρθρώσεων.

Very good environment, very clean place and a very good teacher. It doesn't matter if you are a child , young adult or an older person.
Very nice and good team! I’m in Greece once a year and I always go and train at Pirates. Good techniques, friendly and always good sparring! As a black belt I really recommend this team.
One of the best places to learn BJJ at in Greece. Coach is super friendly and approachable and is very committed to students learning modern, high-quality techniques. There is lots of emphasis on strategy and good sparring rounds.
