Ikaros Taekwondo

Ίκαρος TaeKwonDo Club, based in Zografou, Athens, is a martial arts academy dedicated to the Olympic sport of Taekwondo. Founded in honor of Dimitris Georgiadis (who established the original club in 1995), the school was revived in 2017 and continues his philosophy of discipline, respect, and love for the art. Led by Coach Nikolaos Bodosoglou, the club offers programs for children, teens, adults, and competitive athletes, with structured training schedules throughout the week. Emphasizing Taekwondo’s core principles—courtesy, integrity, perseverance, and respect—the academy fosters both athletic development and character growth. It also organizes events, belt examinations, and the annual Summer Sports Camp in Loutraki, providing students with opportunities for competition, community, and personal empowerment.
