Aikido of Athens

The Aikido of Athens dojo, established in 1990, is dedicated to the understanding and development of Aikido as a cultural pursuit. It focuses on research, study, and training in Aikido, Japanese Koryu, and related arts. The dojo is known for its collaboration with leading teachers and its commitment to Aikido, fostering a spirit of respect and friendship. It has become one of the foundational dojos in Greece, with black belt holders creating their own dojos both locally and internationally. The dojo also hosts seminars and training sessions with experts in various related arts, promoting a high level of participation, including a notable number of women black belts. Styles taught include Aikido, Iaido, and Tenshin Buko-ryu Heiho.
