About Us

Chen Tai Chi Athens, led by instructor Panagiotis Pierrakos, offers training in Tai Chi Chuan (Tai Ji Quan) as both a martial art and a holistic practice. Rooted in the Chen style, classes emphasize physical balance, meditation, energy cultivation, and therapeutic movement. Tai Chi is taught as exercise, self-defense, and a path to mental and spiritual harmony, accessible to all ages and levels. With decades of experience in martial arts, beginning in Shaolin Kung Fu in 1991, Pierrakos brings deep knowledge and dedication to guiding students. The school also hosts seminars, events, and cultural practices, helping practitioners integrate Tai Chi into daily life for health, resilience, and inner peace.
