Teikyo Karate Team

Teikyo Team Karate School is a karate school in Kaiserslautern that offers traditional and sports karate training. The school was founded in 2009 by multiple world champion Sensei Uwe Schwehm and European champion Sensei Mandy Böhmer-Schwehm. They offer training in various age groups, from children to adults, and specialize in traditional and sports karate, as well as fitness and self-defense. The school has a strong focus on good education and challenging karate sport with traditional and sports roots, which is reflected in their numerous national and international titles. The team includes renowned athletes, such as Jonathan Horne, who has been awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by the President of Germany. The school trains in groups tailored to the age and motivation of each student. They offer a variety of programs, including Samurai Minis for children aged 4-6, Teikyo Kids for children aged 6-12, Teens for adolescents aged 13-17, and Erwachsene for adults 18 and above.
