Capoeira Meia Lua Inteira

Associação de Capoeira Meia Lua Inteira was founded in 1990 in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. It serves as a meeting and training place for Capoeiristas from the Meia Lua Inteira group. The organization is also involved in several social projects for children from favelas. Despite their local commitments, they manage to travel to Europe almost annually to maintain connections with groups and teachers there. The essence of Capoeira is expressed as a global family that knows no borders. The dojo also emphasizes traditional Brazilian dances, especially Frevo, which is derived from Capoeira steps, bringing joy and community spirit to the practice.
