PSV Bielefeld Abt. Karate

We are a Shotokan Karate club in the tradition of Masatoshi Nakayama and Hirukazu Kanazawa and have been practicing Shotokan Karate in the center of Bielefeld since 1987. As a member of the PSV, we are part of one of the largest sports clubs in Bielefeld. This allows our members to access a wide range of sports offerings beyond karate. For example, there is also the possibility to train in other martial arts such as Kobudo in addition to karate. We are affiliated with the DKV (German Karate Association), the largest national karate umbrella organization, which means that our members can supplement their training with various seminars and have their achievements recognized at the national level. Our club offers ample space for all aspects of modern karate with its dedicated teachers and five training days a week.
