About Us
Our dojo is a place where you can practice the Japanese martial art of Aikido, which is a way of friendship. Aikido is not just a martial art, but also an art that promotes peace. The dojo is led by Sensei Monika Mager, a 6th Dan Aikido instructor with over 35 years of experience. She is passionate about Aikido and has completed many national and international training courses. The dojo offers regular training sessions, and beginners are welcome to join and learn the basics of Aikido. Aikido emphasizes the development of coordination, body control, and concentration, as well as the practice of meditation and special gymnastics. Regular training can improve physical fitness and overall well-being. The dojo teaches various Aikido styles, including waza (techniques), tai-no-henka (partner exercises), and kokyu-ho (breathing techniques).
