Tai Chi Schule Gottingen, Angela Menzel

The Tai Chi School in Göttingen is an institution that specializes in teaching and lifelong studying of the so-called 'inner martial arts' of the Chinese cultural heritage. These arts include Taiji Quan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, and Tongbei, as well as the treasures of the Qigong. The school was founded in 1997 and is located at Am Leinekanal 4, 37073 Göttingen. It is led by Angela Menzel and is supported by three other instructors who have been part of the team for over 15 years. The school understands itself as a bridge between local fans of Taiji and their Chinese roots, having a close relationship with the Sha family in Kunming. The school offers various courses and programs, including weekly courses for beginners and advanced practitioners, seminars and training trips, and serious training programs that can lead to a state-recognized professional certification.
