Shotokan Gottingen

The dojo is a traditional Shotokan karate school that originated from the 1985-founded Verein Shotokan Göttingen e.V. The school values individual development, responsibility, and respect between instructors and students, as well as the philosophy behind the martial art. The school teaches karate as a way of self-defense, self-discovery, and self-experience, training both the body and mind. It emphasizes the development and growth of one's personality through physical control and concentration. The school welcomes individuals of all ages, not just competitive children and teenagers, but also adults, to practice karate and benefit from its teachings.
