Capoeira IBECA Forchheim

Capoeira IBECA is a Brazilian institution for sports, culture, and art that offers a unique blend of combat, dance, music, and acrobatic movements. The dojo is headed by Master Welber Monteiro Marques, also known as Montanha, who has been teaching Capoeira since 1997. At Capoeira IBECA, students learn about music, which is an essential part of the practice, as well as acrobatic movements that promote flexibility, balance, and rhythm. The training also focuses on combat, where students learn to react and avoid their opponents' movements, rather than just striking them. Ultimately, the goal of Capoeira IBECA is to provide a holistic experience that combines physical activity with cultural enrichment.
