Judo-Freunde Siegen-Lindenberg e.V.

Judo-Freunde Siegen-Lindenberg e.V. is a family-oriented judo club established in 1977, located in Siegen-Lindenberg. Over the past 45 years, the club has seen many athletes achieve titles and placements in European, national, and state championships. The club proudly boasts an Olympian who qualified for the 1992 Barcelona Games, finishing fifth. For four years, a men's team competed in the 2nd Bundesliga. The founder, Lothar Schneider, was honored in 1997 for his significant contributions to judo. Currently, 15 trainers and instructors coach around 170 members, including a mini-group for children as young as four. The dojo trains at the Pestalozzi School gym on Siegen Lindenberg.
