Kodokan e.V. in Norderstedt is a community of individuals from various age groups who offer training for competitive and recreational sports under the guidance of trained instructors. Children experience their first sports interactions in a supportive environment. In our groups for children, youth, adults, and seniors, techniques are taught in a gentle manner that improves self-confidence, self-assurance, and self-defense. As members gain experience in combat sports, the practicality and applicability of techniques are deepened and adjusted. Depending on interests and training goals, members can focus on self-defense, competitive sports, or improving and showcasing techniques from various martial arts. Since 1988, we have been committed to teaching applicable techniques that work, leading to numerous competition successes and trained technical masters over the decades.
