Nisseikai Freiburg

Nisseikai Freiburg is a private school for traditional Gojū Ryū Karate. We are directly affiliated with the Japanese Nisseikai umbrella organization founded by Nobetsu Tadanori Kanchō, 9th Dan Karate-Dō, Hanshi. Every student practices and learns the 'old' Gojū Ryū in the spirit of Nisseikai. This style allows practitioners to act from a state of relaxation, enabling a quick, efficient, and joint-friendly execution of techniques. We are not focused on sports and competition. Those who learn with us need patience and discipline. Our German instructors have been trained directly by Nobetsu Kanchō and have visited the Honbu Dōjō in Japan multiple times.
