Westshore Kimura Shukokai Karate

Westshore Kimura Shukokai Karate is a dojo that focuses on life-long learning, fun, self-defence and fitness. It teaches the Kimura Shukokai Karate style, which is based on Tani-ha Shito-ryu, a branch of Shito-ryu karate developed by Chojiro Tani in the late 1940's. This style is accessible to all ages, skill levels, and body types, and is known for maximizing the force of its strikes, making it one of the hardest-hitting Karate styles. The dojo is run by a father and daughter team of NCCP certified instructors who are dedicated to teaching karate for self-defence purposes, character building, and the development of self-confidence, physical fitness and camaraderie.
