Australian Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy

The Australian Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy is the original home of Wado-Ryu Karate in Australia. It is a proud member of the Australian Karate Federation and has established dojos throughout the Eastern Suburbs of Victoria, Newcastle NSW, and an affiliated dojo in Western Australia. The academy is affiliated with the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy, led by Chief Instructor M. Shiomitsu, 9th Dan Hanshi. Wado-Ryu Karate is a unique style that combines soft energy with hard force in its techniques, teaching students to use body shifting to neutralize or deflect an attack. The academy's instructors are qualified and accredited, with international recognition and commitment to child safety and first aid.
