About Us

Wing Chun Kung Fu is a self-defence system that is based on principles rather than copying movements. It generates force by using the full body mass combined with explosive body movements, making it an effective and efficient self-defence strategy. The system teaches how to develop the correct structure and biomechanics to achieve this outcome, resulting in a more efficient and powerful movement process that utilises the body structure rather than physical strength. The fighting strategy revolves around the centre line theory and concept of occupying space, allowing practitioners to prevent themselves from being hit and gain the inside line to strike back immediately. Wing Chun Kung Fu is founded on 5 principles: practicality, simplicity, economy of movement, directness, and minimum use of brute strength, which cover different aspects of fighting strategy, biomechanic principles of movement, efficiency, and force generation.
