Kempo Genbu Ryu Karate Burwood

Kempo Genbu Ryu International Karate Organisation is a Japanese Kempo style martial arts group based in Sydney, Australia. They focus on maintaining the traditions and culture of Japanese Karate in their teaching and dojo culture. Their style is known as the most effective self-defence, but they emphasize the importance of training hard and smart to maintain this honour. They offer a unique grappling program called Kempo Genbu Ryu Broz Grappling, which combines hand and body locks with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They are known for their Soeno Kickboxing style, named after Japan's greatest Kickboxing and Karate Champion, Sosui "Yoshiji Soeno". They also have a strong emphasis on discipline, respect, spirit, honour, and courtesy.
