About Us
The UniSA Wing Chun Kung Fu Club teaches authentic Wing Chun Kung Fu to UniSA students, staff, and the wider community. Wing Chun is a logical, scientific, yet simple martial art that provides self-defense and fitness skills for people of all ages. It emphasizes economy of movement, eliminating the need for brute strength, and all techniques are based on direct, practical, natural movements. Students develop skills in balance, speed, and positioning through specific exercises and supervised combat. Wing Chun is accessible to anyone, regardless of age, sex, body type, or muscle development, and offers additional benefits such as stress control, discipline, and improved concentration, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
